I'm new to this foster thing, but I have quickly developed a few favorite things. One of them is Day 2. My husband and I both work full time, and the first full day home alone is a very interesting day! Oakie spent it sleeping, and the babies spent it playing. Coming home to Saffron today I expected "something" out of place. Nope. Even her litter box was very clean and organized.
My husband and I share a house. We rent the bottom half of it. Upstairs includes adorable twins and a dog. These prove to be a great way to see how the cats react, without having them in the house all the time and stressing out the cats.
Saffron had the opportunity this morning to just SEE the dog. Margarita was outside the house, and Saffron saw her from the window and growled. I didn't know that cats growled. That sealed the decision that Ms. Saffron won't ever meet the dog. Margarita is the sweetest, calmest dog ever, so she's a great introduction to dogs for the cats.
Hi! I followed you over here from Denali's blog (I won't tell if you won't!). This is wonderful and I look forward to following your adventures in cats :)
ReplyDeleteLOL Yeah cats definitely growl. :D I'm surprised she had such a strong reaction just through a window. That is definitely something I would let the organization know for help finding a perfect forever home.
